Arguably one of the best looking cars ever built. We spotted this 1958 Roadster in Mayfair, appearing as if it had just come out of the showroom with its light green bodywork, stunning interior and acres of chrome gleaming in the London sunshine.
The Roadsters coupe brother is known as the ‘Gullwing’ due to its distinctive roof opening doors. To capitalise on the success of the ‘Gullwing’ the Roadster was introduced with a slightly more powerful engine to compensate for the extra weight of the roof and body strengthening which enabled it to reach a top speed of 155 mph.
Concours examples are valued at approximately £1,000,000 which makes it hard to understand why this one was parked with its roof down and no apparent owner in sight!
